Accreditation  

The media credentialing window for the Nuclear Security Summit closed on March 3, 2016. No late or last-minute requests can be accommodated. Please consult below sections on obtaining copyright-free video or still imagery from the Summit, or contact accredited wire services to coordinate editorial coverage.

The United States is pleased to provide complimentary video of the Nuclear Security Summit official events and coverage opportunities as a “clean” feed with no graphics or chyrons (“HostTV”). International Media Center 

The United States will provide an International Media Center in the Walter E. Washington Convention Center consisting of a Press Filing Center with unassigned workspaces, delegation press briefing rooms, interview spaces, and a limited number of live broadcast positions. Limited unassigned workstations are available on a first-come, first-served basis at no charge, and will include complimentary wireless Internet access and power outlets (North American 110V). Summit media credentials are required at all times for entry and access.  In addition to media workspace, the International Media Center will include several broadcast-ready briefing rooms and interview spaces to be utilized by traveling delegations. 

All accredited media for the Summit should consult their confirmation email for additional details on access and entry to the International Media Center. Visit http://www.nss2016.org/news/streetclosures for additional information on street closures and transportation within Washington, D.C. during the Summit.  

Additional services beyond those provided complimentary (e.g. live/broadcast stand-up positions, high-speed wired/wireless Internet, additional power, additional power, custom workspace or editing suites) are available on a fee-for-purchase basis through the Media Services Ratecard. The deadline to request services has now closed. If interested in live/broadcast positions, please submit an email to the U.S. Media Team at summitmedia@state.gov<mailto:summitmedia@state.gov>.

The deadline to request satellite truck parking or access to the facility for the preset period has now passed.
